How can you summarize two years of working for an amazing company like Rupp Public Relations in a single blogpost?<\/p>\n

Interning with Rupp PR can only be described as a pleasure. From the team to the working environment, my experience was wonderful. I was able to take away so many life long lessons from this opportunity.<\/p>\n

What I learned<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. The Importance of Sustainability<\/span><\/p>\n

Working at Rupp PR has taught me the importance of sustainability and what it means to be a true advocate for our environment. Through the intensive research on how we can make the world around us more environmentally friendly, from travel to lifestyle, I am leaving with a solid appreciation of what it means to be sustainable, and why we need it now more than ever.<\/p>\n

2. Responsibility for My Work<\/span> <\/p>\n

Responsibility is one of the most important lessons that I am taking away from this experience. Being responsible for the work I produce, and the way I present myself in a working environment has enabled me to become a more mature person and develop a better understanding of the business world. <\/p>\n

3. Life Skills<\/span> <\/p>\n

From organization, to time management, to how to find quality sources, these valuable life skills, learned at Rupp PR, will help me as I leave for university and eventually the enter the working world. <\/p>\n

4. Teamwork and Communication<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a part of the Rupp PR team gave me the invaluable opportunity to experience what it\u2019s like to be part of a remote-working team. I\u2019ve learned the importance of communication between colleagues and clients. <\/p>\n

5. The Ways of the Working World<\/span> <\/p>\n

Finally, I experienced what it\u2019s like to work and be a part of a company. Through this, I have gained a better understanding of what is expected of me when I eventually enter the workforce. Being a part of Rupp PR afforded me a great first experience in the working world, and allowed me to grow in a challenging and supportive environment. <\/p>\n

What I loved<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. The Team<\/span> <\/p>\n

The Rupp PR team is absolutely wonderful to work with. Knowledgable, kind, open and helpful, the team continually inspired me to do my best and to bring just as much positivity to a project as the Rupp PR team always did. <\/p>\n

2. The Working Environment<\/span><\/p>\n

Positive is the first word that comes to mind when describing the working environment of Rupp PR. This dynamic atmosphere was the perfect motivator for me to work hard and have fun with whatever task was assigned. Seeing the dedication the Rupp PR team has for their work and their clients is truly inspiring, and this just adds to the overall positive experience. <\/p>\n

3. The Benefit of an Excellent Mentor<\/span> <\/p>\n

Learning from the owner of the company provided many amazing opportunities. I found myself consistently faced with new challenges that I was able to overcome with the courteous and professional guidance I received.<\/p>\n

4. Learning the Ropes of Working<\/span> <\/p>\n

Both understanding what was expected, as well as completing the actual task, was something that I found exciting and satisfying. Not only could I explore different countries and cultures through my tasks, but I could also dive deeper into how the tasks should be completed, and what I needed to do to complete them. Through this, I have a much better understanding of what to bring to a new job and I love that!<\/p>\n

5. Discovering a Passion for Sustainability<\/span> <\/p>\n

I loved that through this job, I got an in-depth look at sustainability. I realized fairly quickly that I had grown passionate about ways to incorporate sustainable practices into my own life. Through this job, I found a true interest which I can continue to pursue after work, and inspire others to love it just as much.<\/p>\n

How It\u2019s Helped Me <\/strong><\/p>\n

There are countless ways that I\u2019ve grown throughout my two years of working at Rupp PR. One of the most important was gaining the confidence I needed both personally and at work. Attending the Berlin Travel Festival in 2019<\/a> and speaking in front of an audience helped me work on my public speaking skills. Communicating with the team members and clients helped me become more confident in how I present myself. Discovering new interests and passions helped inspire me to get involved with current issues like sustainable travel and fighting climate change. <\/p>\n

All of these situations allowed me to break out of my shell and become a more confident person. In my personal life, I feel more comfortable sharing my ideas and opinions, while in my work life, I feel I understand better how to put myself out there. This confidence, from public speaking and believing in the work I do, is a value for my future and something that I will keep with me.<\/p>\n

Rupp PR provided me with a comfortable environment to grow and make mistakes while expanding critical work experience skills. Getting to know and understand the working world was such a crucial part in my development as a person, and I couldn\u2019t have wished for a better place to expand my skills. <\/p>\n

So Why Intern at Rupp PR?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

The Rupp PR team created a positive working environment with their high level of enthusiasm and dedication towards their clients and sustainability. I am extremely proud and honored that I got to be a part of this amazing company. Through my work, I have been able to grow and develop into a person that is ready to take on the world. <\/p>\n

I learned so much from two years at Rupp PR, and was able to take away many important lessons. Most importantly, however, I loved every minute of my work, whether it was research, writing, or designing, the experience was always interesting and fun. <\/p>\n

Being able to have such an enjoyable working experience is not always so common, so I realize how lucky I am to have had such a great first working opportunity. I know that whatever job I\u2019ll have next may not be able to live up to the standards working at Rupp PR has set. <\/p>\n
