The PR profile series explores the definitions of PR simply asking communications professionals from different industries around the globe to complete 10 sentences.<\/p>\n

This month we asked Munich-based Volker Matheis to fill in the blanks for us.<\/p>\n

1. Public relations is\u2026.  something that everyone has.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Public relations is not\u2026 a subset of marketing or anything like advertisement (\u2026 no, mum!).<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. I work in PR because\u2026 every day is different.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. My work essentials consist of\u2026 my serenity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. I\u2019m really good at\u2026 lateral thinking.<\/strong><\/p>\n

6. I wish I was better at\u2026 see fourth point \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n

7. In five years time I\u2019m going to be\u2026 still thirsty for knowledge and a sport-maniac.<\/strong><\/p>\n

8. I wake up in the morning because\u2026 my brain already starts to work.<\/strong><\/p>\n
