Public relations is\u2026.<strong>an essential communication tactic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">2. Public relations is not\u2026<strong>advertisement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">3. I work in PR because\u2026<strong>it can change people towards a positive behavior.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">4. My work essentials consist of\u2026<strong>internet connection, laptop, pen and paper.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">5. I\u2019m really good at\u2026<strong>event management.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">6. I wish I was better at\u2026<strong>pitching ideas to a new client.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">7. In five years&#8216;&nbsp;time I\u2019m going to be\u2026<strong>doing more pro bono PR work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">8. I wake up in the morning because\u2026<strong>you can achieve greatness when you are awake!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">9. I\u2019m currently listening to\u2026<strong>nothing \u2013 otherwise I start typing up the lyrics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">10. My words of wisdom are\u2026<strong>\u2018sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Virginia graduated with a MSc in Corporate Communications in 2016 and has been working in the communication sector for over five years. She worked at Weber Shandwick, a global PR agency, for almost three years after deciding to pack her bags and move to Angola. She is now a freelance PR consultant.
