The Objective.

Position Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape as a leading reference point for barefoot luxury and regenerative hospitality in Bali by securing high-credibility, long-form editorial coverage in top-tier DACH media. The goal was to build lasting brand equity through trusted journalist storytelling rather than short-term visibility.

Our Approach.

We designed and executed a highly curated DACH group press trip, selecting five senior journalists from premium German-speaking publications aligned with Buahan’s philosophy.

Within four weeks of budget approval, we confirmed participants, booked international flights, and delivered a seamless, experience-led itinerary focused on Buahan’s “No Walls, No Doors” concept, nature immersion, and regenerative ethos. The press trip was intentionally print-first and long-lead, prioritizing depth, credibility, and narrative authority.

The activation delivered exceptional value for money and high-impact editorial outcomes. Between May and December 2025, the press trip resulted in five tier-one print features across leading DACH titles including Connoisseur Circle, ELLE / ELLE Spirit, Reisen EXCLUSIV, Reise Magazin, and Schön!

The combined estimated audience reach exceeded 15 million, and the coverage directly influenced Buahan, a Banyan Tree Escape’s ranking as #2 Best Hotel in Bali by Connoisseur Circle. Beyond coverage, the press trip established long-term editorial relationships with key journalists and positioned the hotel firmly on luxury travel maps across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
